This year’s Nobel Conference theme is Climate Changed: Facing Our Future. The changes to the earth’s climate system are vast, without precedent, and of such magnitude and scale as to potentially alter life itself. Seven leading thinkers address climate change from perspectives including paleoclimate studies, climate justice, climate modeling, and climate adaptation. Join us to grapple with the causes and consequences of climate change and with our responses to the challenges it presents us as individuals and as a society.

    About the Nobel Conference

The Nobel Conference is the first, and the only ongoing, educational conference in the United States to receive the official authorization of the Nobel Foundation, Stockholm. Foundation Executive Director, Lars Heikensten notes that, “The Nobel Conference aligns with the work of the Nobel Foundation. The Nobel Conference makes an important contribution to the dissemination of knowledge and the debate of contemporary issues related to the natural and social sciences.” Approximately 8,000 people ranging from  students, educators, and members of the general public gather together in person or via live stream, with the leading thinkers of our time, to explore revolutionary, transformative and pressing scientific questions and the ethical issues that arise with them.
