After 12 years of service, Harvey James is stepping down from his position as Editor-in-Chief of Agriculture & Human Values (https://link.springer.com/journal/10460). Under his leadership, this journal, published quarterly with an impact factor of 2.568, has become the premier interdisciplinary journal in critical food systems scholarship, with international and domestic audiences. Working with an Associate Editor and a Book Review Editor., the Editor-in-Chief plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and reputation of the journal.
The Agriculture, Food & Human Values Society has opened a search for a new Editor-in-Chief, to begin in the summer of 2019. This is a great opportunity for a person who wants to work at the cutting edge of interdisciplinary agricultural and food systems research and enjoys collaborating with authors and an editorial board to ensure the highest level of relevance and scholarship. This is a part-time job ideally taken on by someone who has support from their home institution and is motivated by making a strong contribution to the field.
