Faculty positions available in Nutrition and Food Systems at University of Washington

We are excited to announce that the Nutritional Sciences Program in the School of Public Health at the University of Washington is conducting a search for two new faculty members to join our program.  Both are tenure-track positions in the arena of Nutrition and Food Systems. The position recruitments include an Assistant Professor and an Associate/Full Professor.  These recruitments are part of a multi-hire process, and we are dedicated to hiring faculty who model the principles of equity, diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism through their teaching, mentoring, research, practice, and service. Our faculty are excited to welcome individuals who are eager to contribute to interdisciplinary work in nutrition and food systems and offer new approaches that enhance health and well-being with sustained population impact. Specific areas in which the Program is interested in expanding research, mentorship, and instruction include, but are not limited to, international nutrition, nutritional epidemiology, health equity and diet-related disparities, sustainable food systems, and environmental nutrition.
